US C-SOG only uses equipment that has been evaluated by our Tactical Technology Unit and has been operationally cleared for use.  All of US C-SOG’s equipment is sponsored by manufacturers and service sponsors.  US C-SOG does not in anyway receive directly or indirectly any compensation for equipment usage.

Equipment must undergo the CEEP program in order for it to be used by US C-SOG.  All equipment is used for real world operations.  Any equipment that fails in combat due to manufacturer defect or quality control spec will immediately be pulled from service and a notification letter will be sent out to manufacturer along with a detailed report.

Equipment that is used by US C-SOG is equipment that has under gone the most extensive quality control evaluation prior to being issued to the US C-SOG teams.
